Read on to find out more about using Precise Prose Writing Services to proofread your manuscript.
Stage 1 - Contract & Deposit
Prior to Precise Prose Writing Services commencing the project, you will be required to sign a contract and pay a non-refundable deposit. This deposit is calculated based on the total number of words in the original submitted manuscript. This total is rounded up to the nearest 1000 and then the rate of £10.00 per 1000 words will be calculated. You will be required to pay 50% of the calculated amount.
Stage 2: Proofreading
After the contract has been signed and you have paid the deposit, I will then start proofreading the document using Google Docs. As I identify spelling, punctuation and grammar errors, I will make notes in the comments section of the Google Doc. When I have finished proofreading the document, I will contact you so that you can view my comments. You will then be able to approve or reject any changes I have suggested by responding using the comments boxes.
Stage 3: Correcting Mistakes
This stage involves applying all of the corrections that I have suggested to you. I will also delete the comments and any editing marks and notes that were added during the proofreading stage.
Stage 4: Final Payment & Release of the Completed Manuscript
Once the project has been completed, you will be sent an invoice for the remaining outstanding balance. This is the amount of £10.00 per 1000 words, rounded up to the nearest 1000 (Based on the word count after the final agreed corrections have been applied to the manuscript) and minus the deposit. You will need to make payment using PayPal.
On receipt of payment your manuscript, complete with proofreading notes or with the appropriate corrections already made, will be emailed to you.
